Supergrit takes its name from the sandpaper that touches every object before it leaves the shop. Grit turns a rough edge into a considered one, and that transformation is our entire pursuit.

Brooklyn Navy Yard | NYC | Oct 2025
Agency: Team Epiphany

I created an immersive experience celebrating individuality and advancing the mission of the CROWN Act, legislation that works to combat race-based hair discrimination.

Nearly 2,000 guests explored the activation over two days, beginning with educational touchpoints that introduced the movement before moving into interactive experiences centered on self-expression and celebration.

Rather than enclosing the activation with traditional walls, I designed a series of monolithic forms that define and shape the space. At the center, a 9-foot-tall floating crown serves as the focal point, celebrating everyone's unique story.

  • Designed a multi-part activation within a 30 × 20 ft footprint
  • Developed a floor plan that guided guests through multiple programming moments, including a Charm Bar and video booth
  • Created a spatial environment that elevated CultureCon 2025’s space-age theme
